Memory and strategy games are excellent training for language development. Whilst playing, children learn to describe their moves and plans (“I’ll place the beetle on the flower”), thereby expanding their vocabulary and improving their ability to express themselves coherently. Furthermore, they learn to formulate strategies and anticipate, a skill that carries over into everyday communication.
