Working with time is important for speech development – particularly for understanding stories, plans and time concepts. When planning, you can practise sentence structure (“I’m going to my club on Monday”), prepositions and the sequence of events. It’s also great to describe together what’s going to happen (“It’s going to rain tomorrow”, “We’ve got visitors today”) – this strengthens logical thinking and vocabulary.
