Chain games are excellent for developing expression and comprehension. The child naturally describes the action (“Now the ball will fall into the tunnel.”), plans the sequence and learns to identify cause-and-effect relationships. I recommend asking questions such as: “What happens first? Why has it stopped?” – this helps to develop sentence structure, logic and dialogue.
