Moulin Roty’s ‘Circus’ projection fairy tales are among the most popular children’s rituals. Projected fairy tales are excellent for developing storytelling skills, vocabulary and an understanding of plot progression. Try starting the story with the sentence “One evening at the circus…” and let your child fill in what they see. You can ask “What happens next? Who’s there?” — this will encourage dialogue, sentence formation and imagination.

Instructions for use and care
Wipe clean with a dry cloth. Take care when playing in the dark.

Getting started
• Before first use, remove the protective plastic strip from the battery compartment to activate the battery.
• Select one of the projection discs.
• Insert the disc into the slot in the projector torch.
• Switch on the torch and aim the light at a wall or ceiling.
• Turn the disc to project the individual pictures of the story one by one.
• Adjust the focus by turning the front part (head) of the torch until the image is sharp.

Recommendations for the best projection
• Project in a darkened room for better visibility of the images.
• The ideal distance from the wall is approximately 0.5–2 metres.
• You can accompany the images with your own narration of the story.

Safety warnings
• Do not shine the light directly into the eyes.
• The toy contains small parts – use only under adult supervision.
• Do not expose the product to water or moisture.
• Do not insert any objects other than the supplied projection discs into the product.
• If the product is damaged, stop using it.
• Batteries should be replaced by an adult (where replacement is possible).
• Do not dispose of used batteries in normal household waste.
